The eagle is at the top of the food chain in the bird kingdom and is a very successful bird. They usually catch their prey in the worst environmental conditions of weathering.

So, what eagle can be called the king of all animals in the aerial world?

1. Black eagle

In eastern and northeastern Africa, this eagle can be found in rocky mountainous areas. In times of food scarcity, the black eagle will chase a variety of small and medium-sized species, including monkeys. Except, of course, for its special food, the rock civet.

They are one of the few eagles on this list that will kill each other. This behavior occurs when the largest young eagle kills or starves its siblings. The black eagle is a huge bird that can grow to 75-96 cm from bill to tail tip, making it the 6th longest eagle in the world.

Males weigh between 3-4.2 kg and larger females reach 3.1-7 kg. Its wingspan of 2.28 meters makes it easy to spot. Interestingly, this eagle lives almost all of its life in arid and rocky mountainous areas.

2. Raptor

With a wingspan of 2.6 meters, the mastodon is the largest raptor in Africa. It is a very strong bird that can even grab an adult from the ground with its claws.

The mastodon is estimated to weigh about 6.5 kg. From Senegal to Somalia and Cape Town in the south, this majestic bird can be found in open and semi-open habitats in sub-Saharan Africa.

They prefer to prey on large mammals such as small antelopes, monkeys, reptiles, and other large birds. However, they do not eat scavenging foods.

Because they are known to threaten the safety of livestock. Most of the time, these birds build their nests where they can fly out directly, and it is relatively rare to see two nests.

3. White-tailed sea eagle

White-tailed sea eagles are the largest eagles in Europe, with a bright white tail and a mostly brown body. They have a prominent head and bill that extends forward, making them look a bit like a bald eagle.

Their legs, feet, eyes, and beak are yellow. This bird has a wingspan of up to 2.4 meters and can weigh up to 9 kg. White-tailed sea eagles can be found in a variety of habitats, including lowlands and nearby waters. They feed on a variety of mammals, fish and birds.

4. Bald Eagle

The Bald Eagle is large, with a brown body and white wings, and is the most recognizable of all eagles and the largest in size.

It is the national animal of the United States and a bird that spends its life courting, symbolizing eternal love. The Bald Eagle is a lifelong companion. Each winter is spent alone. From the moment they cling to each other and spin through the sky, they meet their mates during the annual breeding season.

During the first few months, the male eagle assists in feeding the chicks, and the breeding pair maintains the same nest for their entire lives. Each year, improvements and expansions are made. Adult Bald Eagles are large brown birds with a wingspan of 2.43 meters and can weigh up to 7.7 kg.

There are hundreds of species of eagles in the world, and they are the top hunters in the sky.
