Hey there! Lately, I’ve been focusing on clearing out my skincare stash and making space by actually finishing up what I already have. While some products were nearly done, I committed to using them up before deciding whether they deserve a repurchase.
Here's a rundown of the skincare goodies I've recently emptied with my honest thoughts on each!
1. Neogen Real Ferment Micro Essence – 4.5/5
This brightening essence is packed with fermented ingredients, which is known for softening the skin and offering anti-aging benefits. While it might not suit everyone, it works beautifully for me, this is already my second bottle, and yes, I’ll be repurchasing.
2. Jumiso Snail EX Ultimate Boost Facial Essence – 3/5
A snail-based essence with a gel-like consistency that delivers deep hydration. However, it can feel a bit sticky on the skin. It’s decent, but since I already own a few snail products with similar results, I won’t be repurchasing this one.
3. Dr. Althea Sun Essence – 4/5
This sunscreen is hydrating, non-irritating, and doesn’t leave a white cast or cause pilling. It has a slightly creamy texture, reminiscent of Beauty of Joseon’s formula, and helps even out my skin tone. Might repurchase this one for its gentle, skin-friendly finish.
4. Ruruberry Niacinamide Gel Cream – 3.5/5
A lightweight gel moisturizer that contains LHA, offering both hydration and mild exfoliation. It also helps fade acne scars over time. While it’s a nice formula, it’s not quite what I need for my current skin concerns, so I won’t be buying it again.
5. Jumiso All Day Vitamin Brightening Serum – 4/5
This has been a long-time favorite in my morning routine, I’ve gone through several bottles! It provides hydration and nourishes the skin well. Definitely planning to restock this one.
6. Milk Touch Pore Care Serum – 2.5/5
A hydrating, essence-like serum designed to minimize the look of pores. It works well on dry skin, but the effects were similar to other serums I already have, so I’ll pass on repurchasing it.
Whether it’s a hit or a miss, it always feels satisfying to finish a bottle and decide what truly deserves a spot on the shelf. 💛
